Here I will be posting the news and upcoming events at Riverside Piano Studio.  As we are approaching the new school’s year, let me write about a few highlights of the last year:

We had two wonderful student recitals (in February and June), both of which took place at the Estonian House on East 34th Street in Manhattan.  This year there was an especially great turnout of the adult students who decided to come and perform in front of the audience.

A couple of special musical event in the lives of my students took place last year:

Emmanuelle Stephan became a First Prize Winner in the Claude Kahn Piano Competition in Paris, France!!!

…and Aglaia Ho became a finalist in the Long Island Composers' Alliance 34th Music “By

and For Students” Concert and was invited to perform her own piano piece "The

Animal Suite" in Hofstra University.
